Former Celtic striker Harald Brattbakk is delighted with the impact countryman Ronny Deila has had at the Scottish giants in his first season in charge, feeling he has taken the game in Scotland by storm.

Deila, appointed last summer, has led Celtic to the League Cup and the Premiership; he will collect the league title tomorrow when Celtic take on Inverness in their final game of the season at Paradise.

Brattbakk, who turned out for Celtic between 1997 and 2000, is heading to Scotland for the game and is full of admiration for countryman Deila. He also dismissed the importance of Old Firm rivals Rangers not being in the top flight.

"I think it's absolutely fantastic [what Deila has achieved]", he told TV2.

"He has taken Scotland by storm after a difficult start", the former striker continued.

"There are many people who complain that Glasgow Rangers are not there, but that's not interesting.

"And then it is extra fun that Ron is Norwegian", Brattbakk added.

Deila's Celtic have so far picked up 89 points from their 37 league games, 14 more than second placed Aberdeen.

They will be keen to end their season on a high tomorrow against Inverness.
