Daley Blind is delighted with how his debut season with Manchester United has turned out and revealed the atmosphere in the Premier League has thrilled him, with a special mention for that at Anfield.

Manchester United snapped Blind up from Dutch giants Ajax last summer and he at once settled into the much quicker tempo of the Premier League.

Injuries interrupted the Dutchman's season, but he has still managed 28 appearances and two goals for the Red Devils in the current campaign.

The midfielder has especially enjoyed the atmosphere at Old Trafford for Manchester United's games against their rivals, while he also relished the atmosphere at Anfield, when the Red Devils took on their fierce rivals Liverpool and ran out 2-1 winners.

"Playing at Old Trafford [is what I’ve enjoyed most]. I enjoy it every time I get to walk down the tunnel and get on the pitch", he told MUTV.

"Especially the top games against Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea.

"I also enjoyed Liverpool away. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the Premier League", Blind added.

Moving from Ajax to Manchester United last summer meant that Blind missed out on the Champions League this season. However, with the Red Devils having secured a top four finish, the midfielder will be back in Europe's elite competition in 2015/16.

And that will give him the chance to experience European nights at Old Trafford.
