Juventus are stepping up on their efforts to secure the services of Sami Khedira for next season with meetings planned for Tuesday and Wednesday with the player's representatives.

Khedira confirmed earlier today that he is leaving Real Madrid when his contract comes to an end this summer and he is on the lookout for a new challenge.

Juventus are desperate to sign the Germany midfielder and according to Sky Italia, have scheduled meetings with his agents for Tuesday and Wednesday.

Khedira has also been linked with Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Schalke, and Juventus may not have it all their own way in the battle to sign him.

The midfielder is an attractive proposition due to his free transfer status.
