Glen Johnson has signed off on his Liverpool career by thanking those who have supported him at Anfield.

The England right-back's contract with the club is coming to an end and he has not been offered an extension to remain on Merseyside.

The 30-year-old joined the Reds in 2009 from Portsmouth and has won one League Cup with the Anfield club.

He is preparing for his final game with Liverpool today, with the Reds due to visit Stoke City to finish their Premier League campaign for the season, and Johnson has signed off.

The former Chelsea man took to Twitter to write: "A big thank you to all the people out there who have genuinely supported me through the last 6 years."
