Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is to speak with on-loan striker Radamel Falcao tomorrow, while stressing that as far as goalkeeper David de Gea is concerned, it is for the Spaniard to explain what he wants to do.

Falcao is on a season-long loan at Manchester United from Monaco, but has struggled to score goals and hold down a spot in the side and is expected to be officially told the news that the club will not keep him. The Colombian was not involved today as the Red Devils finished their campaign with a 0-0 draw away at Hull City.

Marouane Fellaini was sent off for Van Gaal's men, while Hull striker Abel Hernandez punched Phil Jones in the stomach, but the incident was not spotted by the match official.

Van Gaal was quickly asked about Falcao and De Gea after the match, with question marks over the futures of both.

On De Gea he was quoted as saying by the BBC: "I cannot say that. He has to say something not I."

He was also asked about Falcao, who is on loan, and indicated he will speak to the Colombian tomorrow.

"Also we have tomorrow still a day. Maybe. I have to say something to him", Van Gaal explained.

Van Gaal is set to go on holiday to his villa in Portugal, but has vowed to continue to run the club's transfer business while on his break.
