Tottenham Hotspur defender Jan Vertonghen is looking forward to Spurs’ post-season tour following the conclusion of the season.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men finished the season in fifth and have qualified for the Europa League as a result. They also made it to the League Cup final, but were beaten by Chelsea in the summit clash.

The Lilywhites will play the first game of their post-season tour against a Malaysia XI on 27th May which will be followed by their trip to Australia where they will play A-League runners-up Sydney FC on 30th May.

And Vertonghen, who joined the north London outfit in the summer of 2012 from Dutch Eredivisie outfit Ajax Amsterdam, is looking forward to an enjoyable post-season tour.

“I’ve been on a few tours with Ajax and Spurs and they’re always good”, he told his club’s site.
