Barcelona defender Dani Alves is keeping his cards close to his chest regarding his future beyond the current season, saying that he will announce his decision on 7th June.

Alves’ existing contract with the Catalan giants concludes on 30th June and he has so far refused to sign the contracts that have been offered by the club to prolong his stay.

He has been linked with a move away from the Camp Nou, with several European giants including Premier League outfit Manchester United and reigning French champions Paris Saint-Germain interested in securing the Brazilian’s signature.

However, the right-back has so far refused advances from other clubs and is keen on extending his stay at the Camp Nou, but he is holding out for a more favourable deal.

The Brazil international, who has been at Barcelona since 2008, has said that he will announce his decision regarding his future on 7th June – a day after the Champions League final that Barcelona are set to contest against Juventus in Berlin.
