Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal wants David de Gea to speak out about his future at the club.

De Gea missed the Red Devils' last game of the season against Hull City yesterday with a hamstring injury but there are doubts over whether he will ever wear the Manchester United colours again.

Real Madrid are knocking on Manchester United’s door for the Spaniard and he is yet to put pen to paper on a new lucrative contract which will replace his old deal that expires at the end of next season.

Though the Spaniard’s future at Old Trafford is far from certain, Van Gaal has recently said that he is confident that De Gea will stay at the club next season.

The former Atletico Madrid man has so far maintained a stoic silence on the matter and is yet to make any comments on his uncertain future, but Van Gaal feels time is right for De Gea to spell out his intentions.
