Arsenal target Sami Khedira is expected to arrive in Turin soon to undergo a medical at Juventus.
The German midfielder is out of contract at Real Madrid this summer and decided earlier this year not to sign a new deal with the Spanish club.
Arsenal have been following developments surrounding Khedira since last summer and were hoping to sign him on a free transfer at the end of the season.
However, Juventus made a late entry in the transfer saga and have now leapfrogged the Gunners to become the favourite to land the 27-year-old this summer.
According to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, Khedira is set to arrive in Turin at some time today or tomorrow to undergo a medical at Juventus before signing on the dotted line with the club.

The 27-year-old joined Real Madrid in 2010 from Stuttgart following a fine World Cup with Germany in South Africa.
