Torino president Urbano Cairo is willing to listen to offers for defender Kamil Glik, even though he would rather keep hold of the powerful centre-back.

The Poland star, who captains both his country and Torino, has attracted attention from two English giants in the shape of Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

Cairo wants to ensure the 27-year-old stays put in Turin, but as long as bids land before the end of June and reflect the importance of the player, he will assess them.

Asked about Glik by Italian daily Tuttosport, Cairo replied: "He has a contract until 2017 and he is very valued.

"If an offer arrives that values him importantly then we'll evaluate it, but by the end of June", the president added.

Glik joined Torino in 2011 from Palermo and has established himself as a key man at the club, taking the captain's armband and bossing the side's backline.

Torino currently sit ninth in Serie A with just a single game left to play. The Turin-based outfit could still overtake Inter in eighth and will be looking for a positive result when relegated Cesena provide the opposition next weekend.
