Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has said that his team are relishing their post-season tour of Malaysia and are eager to strut their stuff in front of their Asian fans.

Pochettino’s men finished the season in fifth in the Premier League standings and qualified for the Europa League as a result.




On their post-season tour, the Lilywhites will play a Malaysia XI on 27th May which will be followed by their trip to Australia where they will play A-League outfit Sydney FC on 30th May.

And Pochettino is all praise for the support they are getting from the Spurs fans on their Malaysian tour.
 


“We're all happy to be here because the energy from our supporters in Malaysia is fantastic”, he was quoted as saying by his club’s site.

“I think it will be a tough game against Malaysia but we need to enjoy it and all the players may have a chance to play.”

Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen, who scored 12 times and assisted a further five goals for his team-mates in all competitions from his 48 appearances this season, is also impressed by the dedication of the Spurs faithful and is enjoying the post-season tour.

“The weather is certainly a bit different from what I'm used to in Denmark!

“I don't think I've been so far away from home but to come here and see so many Spurs fans is incredible.

“We're all excited to come and play out here.”
