Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has heaped praise on Alexis Sanchez, saying that the forward is not missing too many qualities in his arsenal of skills and dubbed him a “fighter.”

Sanchez landed at the Emirates Stadium last summer from Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona and in his inaugural season in English football, the Chilean has scored 24 times and assisted a further 11 goals to help Arsenal to a third placed finish and into the final of the FA Cup, where they will play Aston Villa this weekend.

The Chile international has been one of the standout performers for the Gunners this term and he has been awarded PFA Fans' Player of the Year gong.

Wenger has lauded the forward for the qualities he possesses, especially his fighting spirit and added that his fighting qualities make him a favourite among his team-mates and fans alike.

“He is not missing a lot [of qualities]!”, the Frenchman was quoted as saying by his club’s site.
