Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has revealed that he feels a lot more comfortable at the club now, having settled since his inaugural campaign in English football.

Ozil landed at the Emirates Stadium in the summer of 2013 from Spanish La Liga outfit Real Madrid and has become a mainstay in Arsenal’s midfield during the course of his two years at the club.

The 2014 World Cup winner has contributed five goals and nine assists in all competitions this season to help the Gunners finish in third and thereby ensure direct qualification in the Champions League group stage. They have also made their second consecutive FA Cup final and will play Aston Villa in the summit clash this Saturday.

Ozil has revealed that after the initial jitters during his early days at the club, he now feels completely settled and well received by his team-mates and manager Arsene Wenger.

“I always felt comfortable here”, he told the Arsenal magazine.
