Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has arrived in Belgium to start his summer holiday.

The Dutchman is bidding to take a relaxing break before throwing himself into the Red Devils' pre-season preparations and transfer plans.




According to Belgian daily Het Nieuwsblad, Van Gaal has arrived in Belgium to start his break, while he will then move on to his villa in Portugal.

It remains to be seen whether Van Gaal will use his stop off in Belgium to negotiate deals for any players based in the country.
 

 

The Dutchman is expected to be busy in the transfer market over the summer as he looks to make a number of key additions.
