Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho feels his players were not given their due respect and credit for winning the Premier League this season.

The Blues dominated the English top flight by maintaining a tight grip at the top of the league table from the first week of the season to the last.

Chelsea amassed 87 points and lost just three games all season but despite all their achievements, Mourinho feels they didn’t get the credit they deserved.

The Chelsea boss reminded his team’s critics that they graciously accepted their failings last season and respected the teams that finished above them in the league table.

This season Chelsea have come under fire for playing dour football in the latter half of the campaign but Mourinho feels his players deserved more credit for their achievements.
