Colombian international Juan Cuadrado is eyeing a move away from Chelsea in the summer, just months after joining.

The 27-year-old joined the Blues from Fiorentina for a transfer fee of around €31m and Jose Mourinho personally oversaw the negotiations to take Cuadrado to west London from Italy.

However, the Colombian has so far made very little impact for Chelsea and has made 12 appearances in the league, four of them in the starting eleven.

With only one assist credited to his name, Cuadrado has so far struggled to justify his big money move to England and many are questioning the club’s rationale in bringing the winger to England in the middle of the season.

Mourinho has stressed that the Colombian will take time to settle down in England and his talent will come to the fore next season but Cuadrado is not willing to wait until the new campaign starts.

According to Sportitalia, the 27-year-old is seeking a way out of Chelsea this summer to reignite his career at a different club.

He has failed to settle down in England and is claimed to be keen to return to Italy, where he flourished at Fiorentina.

Chelsea are also believed to be ready to find a solution for Cuadrado but it is unclear whether they are ready to sanction a loan move for him or decide to sell the player, who just arrived in England in January.
