Juventus linked Italian midfielder Marco Verratti has stressed that he has no plans to leave Paris Saint-Germain.

The highly-rated Italian international joined the Parisians in the summer of 2012 and has established himself as one of the crucial cogs in Laurent Blanc’s PSG team.

With another impressive season under his belt where he collected his third league winners’ medal in a row, the 22-year-old’s stock has risen in world football and a number of top clubs have earmarked him for a future approach.

European heavyweights such as Juventus and Real Madrid are vying for his attention in the transfer market but the French champions are not willing to sell a player who they feel will become an important part of the club’s future.

Verratti himself is also singing from the same hymn-sheet and stressed unless PSG decide to sell him, he is not going to seek a move away from the club.

Speaking to AFP, the Italian insisted that he is eyeing more success at PSG and said: “I have always said that if PSG don’t want to sell me, my priority is to stay here.

“I feel very good in the city, at this club and I am in a great team who are part of a great project.

“We want to play together and win the Champions League.”

Verratti has racked up 46 appearances in all competitions for PSG this season, scoring three goals and providing ten assists.
