Valencia owner Peter Lim is dreaming of snapping up Manchester United flop Radamel Falcao to boost the club's Champions League charge next season.

Falcao was recently informed by Manchester United that they will not be keeping him on a permanent basis following the expiry of his season-long loan from Monaco.

The previously prolific Colombian managed only four goals for the Red Devils in a disappointing spell which also saw him struggle to hold down a place in the side.

But Falcao will not be short of options for next season and is wanted by a number of clubs.

And one of those sides are Spanish La Liga giants Valencia.

According to Valencia-based daily Super Deporte, Los Che owner Lim is a firm fan of Falcao and is determined to do all he can to take him to the Mestalla in the summer.

Lim believes that Falcao would add experience to Valencia for the club's Champions League campaign.

The striker's wage demands remain a problem, but Falcao's agent Jorge Mendes is confident a solution can be found.
