Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta has reiterated that the final of the Copa del Rey scheduled to be played against Athletic Bilbao tomorrow is as significant as a Champions League final for his team.
The Catalan giants have already won the league title after they defeated Atletico Madrid in their penultimate league game of the season. They are on course to secure a historic treble as they have made it to the final of the Copa del Rey as well as the Champions League.
The Blaugrana will play Italian Serie A champions Juventus in the Champions League final on 6th June in Berlin, where a win will secure their first European Cup since the 2010/11 season.
But before their European summit clash, Barcelona will play Athletic Bilbao in the final of the Copa del Rey tomorrow. The match is scheduled to be held at the Camp Nou and Iniesta insists that the domestic cup is as significant as the continental final for his side.
"It [Copa del Rey final] will be a nice day”, the midfielder was quoted as saying by Marca.
