Inter Milan are eyeing a deal for Chelsea’s Colombian international winger Juan Cuadrado this summer.

After weeks of furious negotiations, the Colombian joined Chelsea from Fiorentina in the January transfer window for a transfer fee of €31m.

However, Cuadrado has so far failed to settle down in west London and with only four league starts under his belt, he has struggled to justify his big money move from Italy to England.

It has been speculated that the Colombian is seeking a fresh start at a different club next season, preferably in Italy, and is looking for a way out of Chelsea this summer.

With the Blues also claimed to be keen to see the Colombian leave, Inter have sensed an opportunity and are ready to pounce on the former La Viola man this summer.

According to Tuttosport, the club are set to propose a loan deal for the player at the end of the season, with them reserving the right to make the move permanent.

While Chelsea are believed to be ready to offload the underperforming Colombian, the club are not willing to take a massive financial hit on the player and want to recoup as much of the €31m they paid to Fiorentina as possible.

Though Inter remain keen, they are also aware of their financial constrains and are expected to negotiate with Chelsea to lower the price down for Cuadrado.
