Juventus are not giving up on their hopes of snaring Brazilian midfielder Oscar away from Chelsea this summer.

The Bianconeri are bracing for a busy summer transfer window and have their fingers immersed in a number of deal pies to sign players across Europe.

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri wants to sign a top notch playmaker in the next few months and has asked the club to get one for the team before the start of the new season.

The club’s interest in Oscar is not new and they have been trying to probe Chelsea for the 23-year-old for the last few months but have found little success.

Juventus officials were in London earlier this month and again enquired about the Brazilian but Chelsea’s stance on the midfielder’s status at the club remained constant.

However, the Italian champions have not lost hope and according to Tuttosport, the club are set to launch a fresh assault in the next few days to take Oscar to Turin this summer.

Chelsea have remained steadfast on their stance on Oscar’s future at the club and Jose Mourinho is expected to veto any attempt to sell the player during the transfer window.
