Manchester United linked Keylor Navas’ agent has clarified that his client won’t be leaving Real Madrid this summer.

Following an impressive World Cup with Costa Rica last summer the 28-year-old joined Real Madrid, hoping to compete with Iker Casillas for the number one jersey.

However, the Costa Rican number one has spent most of his first season at Real Madrid warming the bench and has made just eleven appearances in all competitions.

With David de Gea heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid, many feel his days at the Bernabeu are numbered but his agent stressed that his client is not thinking about a move away from the club.

Juan Cabanas, Navas’ representative, insisted that the 28-year-old is ready to work hard and fight to earn a place in the team.

Speaking to Calcio Mercato, Cabanas said: “No matter who becomes the coach, we are not looking for different solutions.

“Keylor just wants to work hard and fight for his place.”

With Manchester United also uncertain about their goalkeeping position for next season, Navas has been linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer.
