Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino is pushing ahead with a move to appoint West Ham United's head of player recruitment Martyn Glover to the same position at Elland Road, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.

The Whites are looking for a head of recruitment and were recently linked with having appointed former Norwich City man Steve Head to the role, which he then left in a bizarre set of circumstances just days later.

Leeds have also been linked with Celtic's David Moss, but Cellino prefers Glover to take up the role with the club.

Glover has also worked as head of recruitment at Blackburn Rovers. He is still under contract with West Ham, however his future is in doubt following the departure of Sam Allardyce as manager.

Leeds are in the process of making appointments throughout the club, with Uwe Rosler having been appointed as head coach.

Former West Brom assistant Rob Kelly is also tipped to link up with the Whites as Rosler's assistant.

Cellino also recently brought on board Adam Pearson as the club's executive director.
