Inter Milan have joined the chase for Evian winger Daniel Wass, who has also been linked with a move to Newcastle United.

The Nerazzurri are looking at a number of options in the market to strengthen their squad for next season and the 25-year-old, who turns out for Evian in France, has emerged as one of their targets.

According to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Inter are firmly on the winger’s trail and have been keeping a close watch on him for the last few months.

The 25-year-old has earned 13 international caps for Denmark and is one of the most important members of the squad at the Parc des Sports.

And though Evian have been relegated from the French top flight this season, Wass did enough to catch the attention of clubs across Europe, including Inter.

However, Inter are not the only club after the Danish international as their Serie A rivals Fiorentina and Premier League outfit Newcastle United are also monitoring developments regarding the 25-year-old winger.

Initially asking for €4m for the player, following their relegation Evian are ready to lower their demands for the Danish international.

Wass racked up 32 Ligue 1 appearances this season, scoring eight goals and providing four assists.

He started his career at Brondby and was at Fredrikstad and Benfica before joining Evian in 2011, initially on a loan deal.
