The agent of M'Baye Niang is set to hold talks with AC Milan in order to demand his client receives regular first team football next season, either with the Rossoneri or elsewhere.

Niang struggled for game time in the first half of the season, but was loaned to Genoa in January. AC Milan sent Niang to the Rossoblu after rejecting a loan offer from Newcastle United.

It remains to be seen whether Newcastle will rekindle their interest in the 20-year-old, but Niang's agent wants assurances when he meets with Rossoneri officials, fearing his client again slipping out of the pitcture at the San Siro.

"At the beginning of next week there will be a meeting with the leaders at Milan, where we will talk about his season, first of all, and then about M'Baye's future", Moussa Ndiaye told Milan News.

He continued: "We demand stability, we want a serious project where he can express his qualities and play consistently.

"The meeting will be very important for us. The guy deserves more consideration.

"I think Genoa were happy with the loan, but we have not yet addressed the issue of a transfer. There are other clubs that have shown an interest in Niang, thanks to his performances."

AC Milan beat Arsenal to Niang's signature in 2012, snapping the youngster up from French side Caen when he was tipped to reach the very top.

Genoa are the second club Niang has spent time on loan at, following a spell back in France with Montpellier.
