Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado's agent will hold talks with Jose Mourinho over the coming days as he attempts to plot his client a route out of Stamford Bridge, according to Sky Italia.

The Blues only snapped up the Colombia winger from Fiorentina in the winter transfer window, but he has struggled to force his way into Mourinho's side and is now set on a return to Italy.

Cuadrado has interest from both Inter and Roma, who want to take him back to his happy Serie A stomping ground.

Mourinho is not thought to have yet been convinced by Cuadrado, but it remains to be seen whether Chelsea will allow him to quickly exit the club when neither Serie A side are likely to offer the Blues a deal which would see them recoup their outlay on the player.

The 26-year-old cost Chelsea an initial fee of £23.3m to sign from Fiorentina, with winger Mohamed Salah heading the other way on loan.
