Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic has said that the Blues have relished their post-season tour of Thailand and Australia.

Jose Mourinho’s side ended their season with a domestic double of the Premier League title and the League Cup, and then embarked on a post-season tour of Asia and Australia.

They defeated Thailand All-Stars 1-0 courtesy of a Dominic Solanke strike and a Loic Remy goal was sufficient for the newly-crowned English champions to down Sydney FC in their last game of the tour.

Matic, who played a starring role in the Chelsea midfield this season, said that his team always look to win even when they play friendlies.

“We are professional football players and we always like to win”, he told the official Chelsea website.
