Roma are considering making a move for Manchester United winger Nani and are confident of being able to see off interest in the player from Italian rivals Inter.

Nani has just finished a season-long loan in Portugal with Sporting Lisbon and is open to leaving Manchester United permanently this summer as he looks to play regular first team football.




Inter have been offered the chance to sign Nani, with Manchester United wanting €10m for the winger, and are considering a move.

Now, according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma have arrived on the scene.
 

 

The Giallorossi's priority is signing Juan Cuadrado from Chelsea on a season-long loan with the right to buy set at €25m.

However, if another attacking player leaves the Stadio Olimpico they will turn to Nani.

Roma are confident they would be able to beat Inter to Nani as the player wants to play in the Champions League next season. And Roma can offer Champions League football after finishing second in Serie A this term.
