Italian champions Juventus are still keen on signing Chelsea playmaker Oscar this summer, according to Turin-based daily Tutto Sport.

Juventus enjoyed a hugely successful season as they won their first domestic double of the Serie A title and the Coppa Italia since the 1994/95 season and also made it to their first Champions League final in 12 years although they finished as runners-up after losing 3-1 to Barcelona in the final.

The Old Lady see Oscar as great addition to their squad as they attempt to win their fifth Scudetto in succession next season.

Massimiliano Allegri’s side are also grappling with the possible departure of Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal, who is reported to be seeking pastures new, and see the Brazilian playmaker as an ideal replacement.

Oscar is still rated highly by Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho and made 26 Premier League starts for the Pensioners this season.

Juventus have been interested in the 23-year-old for a while and their officials were in London last month to enquire about the midfielder’s availability.

The Bianconeri feel that the 14m demanded by Udinese to make the loan deal of Roberto Pereyra permanent is beyond his valuation. And Oscar is an alternative.

Through the course of his Stamford Bridge career, Oscar has made 152 appearances and scored 30 goals.
