Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud was unable to complete today's training session with France.

Giroud, who played in Les Bleus' recent friendly defeat against Belgium, lined up for training today, but had to cut short his session after complaining of feeling a pain in his left calf.

The striker took a blow to the calf and soon complained of pain, leading to his leaving the training pitch and visiting France's medical staff.

Giroud, with his leg strapped, then returned to watch the rest of training from the sidelines.

The striker played for 80 minutes in France's 4-3 friendly loss to Belgium before then being replaced by Paul-Georges Ntep.
