Chelsea are tracking Zenit St. Petersburg midfielder Axel Witsel, who in turn is interested in a potential move to Stamford Bridge.

Witsel is on the lookout for a switch away from Russia this summer and has been the subject of serious interest from Italian champions Juventus.

But the Champions League finalists may have to battle Chelsea if they want to land the Belgian midfielder.

According to French outfit Foot Mercato, citing a source close to Chelsea, the Blues are keen on Witsel and actively considering making a bid.

And Witsel himself, aware of Chelsea's interest, is open to the idea of playing under Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge.
