Zenit Saint Petersburg midfielder Axel Witsel has expressed his desire for a move to Juventus amidst the Bianconeri’s €22m bid for the Belgian.

The reigning Italian champions are grappling with the possibility of losing two of their first team regulars in Paul Pogba and Arturo Vidal and also the uncertainty surrounding the future of Andrea Pirlo has made the club look for alternatives.

They are eyeing a move for Chelsea’s Oscar and are also interested in Witsel as they attempt to win their fifth successive Scudetto next term.

The Old Lady have lodged a bid worth €22m for the 26-year-old, but the Russian side value the midfielder in the range of €30m to €35m.

Witsel, who joined Zenit Saint Petersburg from Portuguese side Benfica in the summer of 2012 and has gone on to win the league title this season, has expressed his interest in moving to Juventus.
