Tottenham Hotspur are willing to negotiate with Galatasaray over the sale of striker Roberto Soldado.

The Turkish champions have set their sights on capturing the Spanish hitman this summer and if a deal can be done he could be playing his football in the Super Lig next season.

According to Turkish sports daily Fanatik, Galatasaray have received a positive response from Tottenham over their enquiry for Soldado, with the English side willing to consider offers for the Spaniard.

Soldado is looking for €3.5m per season and his representatives have made Galatasaray aware of their client's salary demands.

The Turkish champions know they may face opposition for the striker, who has also been linked with Monaco, but believe they present an attractive proposition to the former Valencia hitman.
