Bayern Munich are in advanced talks to sign Shakhtar Donetsk star Douglas Costa this summer, according to magazine Sport Bild.
The Brazilian winger, who is currently on Copa America duty, has been linked with a move to Chelsea previously and is considered the star man at Shakhtar Donetsk.
Costa has been pining for a move away from Shakhtar Donetsk since January and the Blues were believed to be his favoured destination.
But it emerged yesterday that the 24-year-old is on Bayern Munich’s summer transfer shortlist and the club are pondering over making a move for him.
However, the saga has picked up pace since then and the Bavarians have stepped on the gas regarding their pursuit of the Brazilian international.

According to German magazine Sport Bild, the German champions are in advanced negotiations with the player and are confident of getting a deal done soon.
It has also been speculated that a verbal agreement between the club and the player over a four-year contract is in place and Bayern Munich are ready to pay a fee of around €35m to Shakhtar Donetsk for the transfer of Costa.
He scored five goals and provided seven assists for his team-mates in 33 appearances in all competitions last season.
