Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini has confirmed that his side are considering Sevilla forward Carlos Bacca as a potential signing this summer.

Bacca played an instrumental role in Sevilla’s campaign last season as they collected their second consecutive Europa League and finished fifth in La Liga.

The Colombia international contributed 28 goals and ten assists to his side’s cause as their Europa League triumph earned them a spot in the group stage of the Champions League next season.

Bacca’s prolific goal return has seen several club’s interested in securing him this summer, including interest from Premier League sides Liverpool and Manchester United.

However, Sabatini has confirmed that his side are keen to add the 28-year-old to their ranks as they attempt to challenge for the Serie A title next season.
