Carlos Bacca has agreed personal terms with AC Milan, his agent has revealed, though the Italian side must still come to an agreement with Sevilla in order to sign the striker.

AC Milan quickly turned their attention to Bacca after losing out on Jackson Martinez, who is swapping FC Porto for Atletico Madrid.

Bacca has also been linked with Liverpool, Manchester United and Roma, but AC Milan are working quickly to try to set up a deal, even though Sevilla have made clear that they do not want to sell the player.

The Colombian's agent Sergio Barila told Italian outlet MilanNews.it: "I can confirm that Milan and the player have an agreement.

"Carlos has chosen the best for his future, it is normal to be happy", he continued.

"It's best if you ask the Rossoneri [how long the agreement is for]."

AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani is now set to go to work in trying to reach an agreement with Sevilla to sign Bacca, armed with an deal with the player.

However, the Italian giants could still face opposition from other clubs and will not feel comfortable until Bacca has put pen to paper and has been presented as an AC Milan player.
