Atletico Madrid are eyeing a move for former Arsenal forward Carlos Vela in the eventuality of Arda Turan’s departure from the Vicente Calderon this summer, according to Radio Marca.
Turan has confirmed that his agent is in touch with several European clubs over a possible move this summer.
The Turkey international has been an important component of manager Diego Simeone’s side and the Spanish capital outfit have already started their search for a replacement in case the winger departs.
Former Arsenal star Vela, who has become a mainstay of David Moyes led Real Sociedad, is on the radar of Los Rojiblancos.
Last season, the Mexico international registered figures of ten goals and four assists for La Real’s cause.
