Lazio remain keen to sign Fabio Borini from Liverpool, but want the Anfield club to be flexible on the fee.

Coach Stefano Pioli is a firm fan of the former Roma man and has asked Lazio to do all they can to bring him in for next season.

The capital club are trying to fulfil their coach's wish, but Liverpool's asking price is one they want to bring down.

According to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, Liverpool are looking for €7m to sell Borini.

Lazio are considering putting in an official bid for Borini, but want Liverpool to think over offering them a discounted fee or at the very least delaying the time when payment has to be made.
