Arsenal have wasted no time in showing off their latest signing, goalkeeper Petr Cech.

Cech has linked up with Arsenal from the Gunners' rivals Chelsea and has penned what the north London club have described as a long-term contract at the Emirates Stadium.

The Czech Republic goalkeeper is expected to slot straight into Arsene Wenger's first team at the Emirates Stadium as the Frenchman aims to build a squad to challenge for the Premier League title next term.

The 33-year-old custodian is a vastly experienced Premier League campaigner and joined Chelsea in the summer of 2004 from French outfit Rennes.

He lost his spot between the sticks to Thibaut Courtois last season and was keen to move on this summer in search of regular first team football. Cech was also reluctant to uproot his family from London, something which put Arsenal in the driving seat to snap him up.
