Tottenham Hotspur have enquired about Lyon’s 21-year-old striker Clinton N'Jie for a transfer this summer.

The north London club are looking to bolster their attacking options for next season and have been scouring the market for potential targets.

The Lyon forward has emerged as a target for Tottenham and according to French sports daily L’Equipe, the club have lodged an enquiry with the Ligue 1 side for the 21-year-old Cameroonian.

With an iron clad contract tying him down at Lyon until 2019, the club are in no mood to sell the young forward and are likely to knock back offers for him.

It has been claimed that Tottenham need to come up with a big money offer for N'Jie if they hope to change Lyon’s mind about not selling the player this summer.
