Inter Milan have held talks with Chelsea to reach an agreement for the signature of Juan Cuadrado this summer, according to Sky Italia.

Though Jose Mourinho has said that the Colombian won’t leave the club this summer, the speculation surrounding Cuadrado’s future at Chelsea has refused to die down.

Inter are reportedly keen to explore the option of signing the former Fiorentina man and have been working hard behind the scenes to take the Colombian back to Italy.

Cuadrado’s agent was in London last week to hold talks with Chelsea about his client’s future at the club and the Nerazzurri seem to have received encouragement from the Colombian’s camp to continue their pursuit.

The Nerazzurri recently met Chelsea officials to discuss the Colombian and talks between the clubs have been described as positive.

It has been claimed the Blues are open to the idea of loaning Cuadrado out with a mandatory purchase option attached to the agreement.

Juventus are also reportedly interested in signing the 27-year-old but at the moment Inter are said to have the edge in the chase for the winger.

Cuadrado has struggled to settle down at Chelsea since his big money move from Fiorentina in January and could be on his way back to Italy this summer.
