FC Copenhagen defender Ludwig Augustinsson admits he is hugely flattered to have been linked with Liverpool, though there is nothing concrete about the Reds' interest yet.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has been linked with making a move to sign the 21-year-old, who is currently preparing for the European Under-21 Championship final in the Czech Republic.

Augustinsson appreciates Liverpool's interest, but insists he must focus on helping Sweden Under-21s put Portugal Under-21s to the sword this evening.

"It's great that there are rumours of such a big club", he told Fotbollskanalen.

"As my agent said, he has heard about them, but anything more I don't know", the defender added, referencing his agent saying that Liverpool are tracking his client.

"It's really cool, but I'm focusing on the here and now."

And Augustinsson insists he is not pushing to quit FC Copenhagen, where he is perfectly happy at present.

The defender explained: "All good clubs are interesting, but at the same time I feel really good at Copenhagen."

Augustinsson can further boost his reputation this evening by turning in an accomplished performance in the European Under-21 Championship final.

It remains to be seen whether Liverpool will solidify their interest by making an official offer for the 21-year-old over the course of the summer.
