Manchester City forward Alvaro Negredo has completed a permanent Valencia move following the conclusion of his loan deal.

Negredo was sent to the Mestalla last summer on a season-long loan, with the possibility of him becoming a permanent Valencia signing upon the deal’s conclusion.

Last season, the Spain international contributed five goals and an equal number of assists to help Los Che seal a fourth place finish in the league and with it a spot in next season’s Champions League.

He joined the Citizens in the summer of 2013 from Sevilla and enjoyed a prolific inaugural campaign in English football as he netted 23 goals from 49 games across all competitions.

However, he was keen to head back to Spain from the Etihad stadium and was sent back to La Liga on loan.
