Scottish champions Celtic have completed the signing of youngster Saidy Janko from Manchester United.

The defender has put pen to paper on a four-year contract at Celtic Park, with the move to be finalised tomorrow when the Bhoys receive the final results from Janko's medical checks.

The Swiss youngster spent time on loan at Championship outfit Bolton Wanderers last term and has chosen to move on from Manchester United in the hopes of making an impact in Scotland.

Janko was out of contract with Manchester United this summer and Celtic will pay a compensation fee for the 19-year-old.

A Switzerland Under-19 international, Janko primarily operates in the centre of defence, but he has also played as a right-sided midfielder.
