Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini has personally called Tottenham Hotspur linked Mario Suarez to convince him about a transfer to Italy this summer.

The Nerazzurri have been trying to land the Atletico Madrid midfielder since the January transfer window and the club are ready to push through the deal this summer.

However, Inter are not alone in the chase for Suarez this time around as Tottenham are also believed to be closely following the midfielder and are keen to take him to England.

Inter are aware that the financial clout of the English club is substantial and know that they won’t be able to compete with them when it comes to the money they could offer.

Therefore, Inter boss Mancini has taken upon himself to convince Suarez to join his project at the San Siro.
