Stoke City have reached an agreement with Inter over signing Xherdan Shaqiri this summer, but the deal is not yet complete.

The Potters are pursuing an ambitious transfer strategy and have zeroed in on the former Bayern Munich winger as a potential signing.

According to Sky Italia's Calciomercato programme, Stoke have reached an agreement for Shaqiri with Inter worth €17m, but it is still for the player to decide whether he will accept a move to the Britannia Stadium.

Shaqiri only joined Inter in the winter transfer window this year, with the Nerazzurri beating off interest from Liverpool in the Switzerland international.

The Reds have again been linked with Shaqiri this summer, but Stoke are the club who now have a concrete agreement with Inter.
