Tottenham Hotspur starlet Kyle Walker-Peters is eager to become part of the Lilywhites’ first team set-up and perform consistently with the Under-21s in the coming season.

Walker-Peters made 13 appearances for the Tottenham Hotspur Under-21 side and provided two assists to help them finish their season in ninth spot in the Under-21 Premier League Division 1 last season.




The 18-year-old wants to impress first team boss Mauricio Pochettino in order to become part of the first team squad and continue doing well for the youth team.

“To be in and around the senior squad again and to do well with the Under-21s”, the youngster told his club’s site when asked about his hopes for the coming season.
 


“I think it’s very important to keep developing and performing well for the Under-21s.”

He made his debut for the England Under-18 side in September last year and is eager to remain in the England set-up in the future.

“Another target is to hopefully play for England again”, he added.

Spurs ended last season in fifth in the Premier League and they will be keen to secure a top four finish in the coming season and thereby seal a spot in the Champions League.
