Roma have been contacted again by West Ham, as the Hammers continue to look to sign Mattia Destro this summer.

The Giallorossi are ready to offload Destro this summer, but have so far not decided what to do with the Italy international striker.

West Ham have shown an interest in Destro recently and according to Sky Italia, the Hammers again contacted Roma earlier this morning.

The offer is of a loan and Roma are considering whether to allow Destro to head to Upton Park.

Destro was loaned out to AC Milan for the second half of last season, but failed to make his mark at the San Siro.

The Italian is looking to provide his career with fresh impetus next term, though it remains to be seen whether that can happen in England with the Hammers.

In total the 24-year-old made 31 appearances in Serie A last term, but only hit the back of the net on eight occasions.

Destro has eight caps at international level for Italy, with a single goal.
