Barcelona boss Luis Enrique is all set to promote Munir El Haddadi to the first team on a permanent basis and block any move away from the Camp Nou for the youngster.

El Haddadi was given first team minutes by Enrique at the start of last season and later he made sporadic appearances for the senior side.

By the end of the campaign, he had played 16 matches for the first team across three competitions and returned figures of a goal and an assist.

The 19-year-old was impressive in his displays and attracted attention from Premier League heavyweights Arsenal.

However, the youngster is all set to continue his development with the first team under Enrique after Barcelona B were relegated to the third division last term.

El Haddadi will be battling against the frontline of Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Luis Suarez for a spot in the first team. He will also have to fend off Pedro Rodriguez in order to win playing time.

The youngster joined the Camp Nou outfit in 2011 and has progressed rapidly through the ranks at the club.
