Celtic’s new acquisition Dedryck Boyata is pleased with his winning debut for the Hoops, saying that the style of his new team suits him.

Boyata has signed from Premier League giants Manchester City and will look to fill the void left by Jason Denayer, who went back to the Etihad Stadium following the conclusion of his successful season-long loan spell at Celtic Park.

The 24-year-old made his debut for the Bhoys in their 2-0 friendly win over Dutch side Den Bosch yesterday.

And he is delighted to have started his career with the Scottish giants on a winning note.

“Well, firstly we should be happy with the win”, he was quoted as saying by his club’s site.
